Months into her first pregnancy, Aubrey Plaza is leaning into stylish, sporty comfort. Yesterday, the actor was seen out and about in New York City in a springtime off-duty look ideal for the warming weather.

Up top, she wore a classic white T-shirt with a boxy crop, which offered a glimpse at her growing baby bump. She paired the everyday staple with little black athletic shorts and a sand-colored technical jacket that she rolled up at the sleeves.

Her footwear game was much funkier. Plaza slipped on some white knee-high socks, which she paired with chunky New Balance 9060 sneakers in brown suede. The affordable shoes are currently on sale at Nordstrom. As readers know, the athletic wear brand’s sneakers—particularly in its luxurious brown shades—are regularly worn by It girls like Rosalía (a brand ambassador), Kaia Gerber, Hailey Bieber, and Taylor Swift.

Plaza completed her fit with black square sunglasses and little gold hoop earrings.

Plaza is expecting her first child with fellow actor boyfriend Christopher Abbott, whom she began dating last summer. She confirmed the happy news during a chat on the Smartless podcast earlier this week.

“Well, there’s a baby inside of me,” she told podcast co-hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett—who simply could not believe the news. “No, I said there is a baby inside of me right now,” she insisted.

The My Old Ass star noted that she is feeling excited about becoming a mother. She said of the concept of motherhood: “I’ve always wanted… I’ve always wanted to see what that’s all about, you know? It just seems so interesting, that whole thing.”
