Life is always now and I think Chappell looks great but cheer up girl. The world is at your feet stop kicking it!" the British musician wrote in a Tuesday, March 10 post on X

Over the weekend, Roan expressed frustration over feeling disrespected and harassed by fans and paparazzi outside a restaurant in what appeared to be Paris

Boy George has a message for Chappell Roan.

After the "Pink Pony Club" hitmaker had a confrontation with several photographers and fans waiting outside a restaurant and called them out for "harassing" her, per viral video filmed by a bystander, the "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?" performer shared some advice for Roan, 28, on X.

"It's probably not helpful but I have been doing this fame thing for a while and you learn slowly and painfully that you don't get a free pass once you turn yourself into a bird of paradise," the British musician, whose real name is George Alan O'Dowd, wrote in the Tuesday, March 10 post. "I watched @ChappellRoan filming the paps in Paris and I laughed because I have kicked off at them many times."

The Culture Club artist, 64, then noted that "the trick is to own your fame."

"Yes, it's annoying at times but so is being ignored and told your a 'has-been," Boy George wrote. "Life is always now and I think Chappell looks great but cheer up girl. The world is at your feet stop kicking it! It takes so much more time to say no to a picture or a signature. Boundaries are boring. Break them with the magic of kindness!"

While sporting a headscarf, Roan, born Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, made headlines after having a tense encounter with photographers and fans over the weekend in what appeared to be Paris.

The "Good Luck, Babe!" singer filmed herself on her phone and spoke about feeling "disregarded as a human" by the group.

"I’m just trying to go to dinner, and I’ve asked these people several times to get away from me," she said in video footage at the time.

Addressing one specific person, Roan said, "This person I’ve asked several times to go away, and they will not. They’re hiding their face because they’re ashamed — because I’ve asked them."

"People that are completely disregarding all of my boundaries," she added. "All of you, I’m asking you kindly to please leave me alone and stop following me and harassing me."

Roan declined when one fan asked for an autograph. "I'm not gonna sign," she said.

Speaking into her phone while recording, Roan said, "This is what it’s like, if you were wondering how it is."

Roan, who appeared to be in Paris when the encounter occurred, recently attended Paris Fashion Week with shows from designers including Acne Studios, Mugler, Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen.

Noah Kahan came to Roan's defense on Tuesday, March 10 in a series of now-expired Instagram Stories, per Billboard.

He also shared an Instagram video elaborating further.

“These people literally find out where you’re staying, where you’re flying in to, where your team, family, whoever is staying — they are clearly not your fans, they just sit outside places so they can try to guilt you into signing s--- so they can sell it," Kahan, 29, said in the clip.

He added, “They trick people like you who are just watching the video and don’t know what’s going on into thinking that someone’s being rude to one of their fans, when they’re really just manipulating you. They’re scummy, they’re manipulative, they’re parasitic, and, yeah. F--- them, seriously. Don’t feel bad for them.”
