Bre Tiesi revealed why she would "never allow" Nick Cannon to be on Selling Sunset in a recent interview with Us Weekly
Her relationship with Cannon has been a recurring topic on the Netflix reality show ever since she joined in season 6
Cannon, who shares son Legendary with Tiesi, does not appear in Season 9 of Selling Sunset, which dropped on Oct. 29
Bre Tiesi is putting her foot down when it comes to Nick Cannon making a cameo on Selling Sunset.
Fans who binged season 9 of the hit Netflix series, which dropped on Oct. 29, or watched the reunion that aired on Nov. 5, will know that Cannon, 45, does not make an appearance in the latest season. And if it is up to Tiesi, 34, who shares 3-year-old son Legendary Love with Cannon (his eighth out of 12 children he's welcomed since 2011), he won't appear on the show at all.
"I would never subject [Nick] to that," the real estate agent, who joined Selling Sunset in season 6, told Us Weekly in a recent interview. "I will never subject him to a show that did not show him an ounce of respect or grace."

Tiesi said it's a "hard no" to having Cannon on the show, despite his willingness to do so.
“I don’t care if they said they’d give him $100 million," she said. "I would say, ‘Not a f------ chance in hell.’ I definitely hold a grudge, so I would never subject him to that."

The model added, "The crazy part is that he would do it. He would be nice enough to do it if that’s what I wanted. That’s what I love about him. But it’s a hard no for me, because they have tried.” (Netflix did not have any comment.)

After previously telling PEOPLE that her personal life has been "dramatized" on the show, she told Us Weekly that she is "slowly feeling a little bit more comfortable introducing my real life [on the show] because it is controversial."
In the new season of the real estate drama, Tiesi said that she and Cannon are still going strong and that she has “no complaints” about their relationship.
The Wild N' Out creator notably attended the Los Angeles premiere party for Selling Sunset season 9 with Tiesi in late October.
Cannon also shared his support for Tiesi in July, telling PEOPLE that she's "built" for the spotlight.
“I mean when you see her on Selling Sunset and even how she moves on her own, you know, it's content, [but] it's not a facade,” he said during a taping of his Nick Cannon @ Night Wondery podcast, adding, “She don't need [advice], I need to get some advice from her.”
He gushed further about Tiesi, telling PEOPLE, "She’s a rockstar. She’s a superstar. She's an amazing mom, amazing businesswoman and truly like a boss."

Tiesi — who has previously noted that she and Cannon are “open and happy” — has received criticism for the nature of her relationship, most notably from her costar Chelsea Lazkani.
The pair’s longtime feud was originally sparked in season 6 when Tiesi joined the Selling Sunset cast. Tension first started brewing between the pair after Lazkani said she didn’t approve of Bre’s relationship with Cannon, calling him a “master manipulator” in the process.
"I find Nick Cannon and Bre's relationship rather off-putting. Ultimately the way I live my life is very different to her as a Christian so I don't know if we will ever be super, super close friends," Lazkani said in season 6. She also claimed "creating multiple broken homes is disgusting," and later in the season, she told Bre that she thinks it's "unfair" for kids to be born into a situation where their father isn't fully present.

Despite the criticism, Tiesi couldn't be happier when it comes to her relationship with Cannon.
During a December 2024 appearance on the Wednesdays podcast, Tiesi said she ultimately didn’t want a “conventional relationship,” and that what she has with Cannon is the “healthiest relationship” she’s ever been in.
"I'd like to be very clear, we don't co-parent, we are very much together," she added at the time. "And that's why people are confused."
All nine seasons of Selling Sunset are available to stream on Netflix.
