Oops, she did it again! Britney Spears has returned to Instagram with a sexy photo less than a week after seemingly deleting her account.
The âToxicâ singer, 43, reactivated her Instagram on Friday, November 8, to pose in black-and-white lingerie while giving her followers a sneak peek at her closet. Spears also got a bit philosophical as she reflected on her whirlwind year.
âSo much has happened this year, itâs crazy ... I try to live within my means and the book, Draw the Circle is an incredible perspective. Get your ballerina đ©°, circle, and own your boundaries,â Spears wrote.
The Grammy Award winner continued, âItâs incredibly strict and somewhat of a form of prayer but with so many endless possibilities in life, itâs important to do you and keep it simple. I know there is a confusing side too. The devil is in the details but we can get to that later.â

Spearsâ social media return came six days after she appeared to deactivate her Instagram account on Sunday, November 2. Fans who tried accessing her Instagram received the message: âThe profile youâre looking for doesnât exist.â
Us Weekly reached out to Spears for comment at the time.
Spears has been embroiled in controversy over the publication of her ex-husband Kevin Federlineâs tell-all memoir You Thought You Knew in October. Federline, 47, specifically raised concerns about Spearâs Instagram posts both in his book and in promotional interviews.
In an excerpt from the book obtained by Us, Federline worried âhistory [was] repeating itselfâ as he drew comparisons to Spearsâ public behavior following their 2007 divorce. Spears was ultimately placed under a 13-year conservatorship that was only terminated amid public pressure from the âFree Britneyâ movement in 2021.

âWith her newfound freedom, I saw history repeating itself,â Federline wrote. âHer social media posts became more erratic. There were the infamous videos of her dancing with knives, cryptic rants and wild behavior that was impossible to ignore.â
Federline alleged that his and Spearsâ two sons Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, âquickly learned to avoid social mediaâ because of the backlash theyâd face by responding to their motherâs fans.
âThey knew what [responding] would bring: endless negativity and blame aimed at them from fans who didnât understand the full story,â he claimed. âThe Free Britney extremists were brutal. The boys understood that it was better to form a relationship with their mom on their own terms.â

A spokesperson for Spears condemned Federline for promoting âsensationalismâ and suggested heâd timed the release of his memoir âafter child support has ended.â Spears eventually released her own response, in which she insisted âgaslighting from [her] ex-husbandâ was âextremely hurtful and exhausting.â
âTrust me, those white lies in that book, they are going straight to the bank and I am the only one who genuinely gets hurt here,â she wrote. âI will always love [my kids] and if you really know me, you wonât pay attention to the tabloids of my mental health and drinking. I am actually a pretty intelligent woman who has been trying to live a sacred and private life the past 5 years. I speak on this because I have had enough and any real woman would do the same.â
Speaking exclusively to Us, Federline clapped back at his ex-wifeâs accusation that You Thought You Knew was an attempt to make quick cash.

âMoneyâs not the root of this thing,â he insisted. âI feel like, if she has the right to tell her story, why donât I?â
Federline referenced Spearsâ own New York Times Bestselling 2023 memoir The Woman in Me, adding: âEverybodyâs entitled to their point of view. Her perspective is what it is, and I have my perspective, and I feel that Iâm entitled to that as well.â
The dancer admitted he âcouldnât even remember the last conversationâ heâd had with Spears, though he insisted he held no grudges.
âAll I really want is for her to be able to have a wonderful relationship with her children,â Federline told Us. âI want her to be happy, healthy and all of the things. I want nothing but greatness for her.â
