"Oh, we miss her so much. I played Catherine O’Hara’s husband in three different productions," Cranston began, referring to a guest appearance on *30 Rock** *together, along with the 2024 movie *Argylle*. "And then she was my nemesis in *The Studio*. I miss her so much. She was such a joy to be with."

Cranston previously spoke about doing mushrooms with O'Hara, telling Jimmy Kimmel on his eponymous show about how his *The Studio *character had a scene where he is "wiped out." "I had never had any experience in that,” Cranston said in September. “Not that many drugs at all, as a matter of fact, and so I didn’t know really how to behave," he admitted.

A chance to microdose, in order to accurately depict the drugs effects onscreen, presented itself to him. “If God wasn’t telling me to do microdosing, what was he telling me?!” Cranston quipped of their venue of choice: a Dead & Company show at the Las Vegas Sphere alongside Seth Rogen and Ike Barinholtz.

Weeks after her death, O'Hara posthumously won the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series. *The Studio* creator and star Seth Rogen accepted the award on her behalf.

"I obviously have been reflecting on the time I was fortunate enough to spend with her working with her, and something I've just been marveling at over the past few weeks was really her ability to be generous and kind and gracious while never ever minimizing her own talents, and her own ability to contribute to the work that we were doing," he said during his emotional acceptance speech.

Rogen added: "She really showed that you can be a genius and be kind, and one of those things does not have to come at the expense of the other in any way shape or form."
