Celine Dion could only stay away from the stage for so long.
Thanks to a mysterious poster campaign in Paris, rumors abound that the five-time Grammy-winner is gearing up for a comeback concert. Over the past few days, fans have noticed numerous posters on the streets of the French capital bearing Dion's lyrics and song titles such as "Power of Love" and "S'il suffisait d'aimer." One poster placed outside of Cafe du Louvre reads, "My Heart Will Go On," the title of her 1998 hit from the *Titanic* soundtrack.
On Monday, the French-Canadian newspaper La Presse announced that the playful posters are building hype for a string of concerts that Dion will play in Paris starting this fall.
Representatives for Dion did not immediately respond to **'s request for comment.

According to La Presse, Dion will perform a series of concerts at the Paris La Défense Arena beginning this fall. This will include two concerts each week throughout September and October at the 40,000-seat venue. Dion was previously scheduled to perform at the venue in 2020 as part of her *Courage* World Tour, but the dates were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and later delayed again due to her diagnosis with stiff-person syndrome (SPS).
Back in 2022, the singer canceled the *Courage *tour's remaining, previously postponed dates due to SPS, a rare neurological and autoimmune disorder that causes muscular stiffness, inhibiting the ability to walk and sing.

Celine Dion says singing with stiff person syndrome is 'like somebody's strangling you'

"I always give 100 percent when I do my shows, but my condition is not allowing me to give you that right now," she told fans at the time. "For me to reach you again, I have no choice but to concentrate on my health at this moment, and I have hope that I'm on the road to recovery. This is my focus, and I'm doing everything that I can to recuperate."
In addition to canceling her *Courage* tour in January 2022, Dion's "severe and persistent muscle spasms" delayed her planned return to her Las Vegas residency in October 2021. Her battle against the illness was later chronicled in the 2024 documentary *I Am: Celine Dion*, which saw her reflect on the tour cancellation and explain why she receded from the public eye in the aftermath.
"If somebody sees me have a good time for a moment with my family, and I was supposed to be on stage, and they had a ticket that night, they have the right to come to me and say, 'Hey,'" Dion said. "I can't just do whatever I want. I can't go out. I'm stuck."

In another vulnerable moment, the singer got candid about how much she misses performing.
"It's not hard to do a show, you know? It's hard to cancel a show," Dion admitted. "It's been a struggle. I miss it so much, the people. I miss them. If I can't run, I'll walk. If I can't walk, I'll crawl… I won't stop."

She reiterated this point during a June 2024 interview with *Today*'s Hoda Kotb, insisting, "I'm gonna go back onstage, even if I have to crawl. Even if I have to talk with my hands. I will."
The singer later proved this was the case by giving her first live performance in years at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Dion closed out the opening ceremony, delivering an emotional rendition of Edith Piaf’s "Hymne à l'amour" from within the Eiffel Tower. Prior to that, Dion's final onstage performance was closing out the North American leg of her *Courage* tour in Newark, New Jersey on March 8, 2020.
