"Feels way dramatic for an ankle," Bones captioned the update. "🤞 let’s hope they get the right one… (which is the left one)."

In the comments, Instagram users flooded him with prayers and advice, with co-host of The Bobby Bones Show, Amy Brown, joking, "I told you to you sharpie that ankle!!!!! 🙏🏼."

One fan wrote, "Prayers & well wishes for surgery today!!! 🙏."

Another echoed, "Prayers for surgery to go well and a speedy recovery ❤️‍🩹."

Someone else shared, "Sending prayers. You got this. You will want a leg pillow to keep your leg elevated and ice packs. I have had 2 ankle surgeries in 1 year and 3 days apart on the same ankle. I’m post op 136 days on the second surgery."

A different Instagram user quipped, "Does this mean you won’t be dancing with Andy [Richter]for the stars and past winners dance?😂 @mrbobbybones."

Meanwhile, yet another fan commented, "You'll do great Bobby. I have no concerns about the surgery. Hardest part is recovery. Surgery is the easy part. Prayers. You're going to do great. Stay positive."

Bones and his pro dance partner, Sharna Burgess, came out on top on DWTS in 2018. Afterward, he joined some performances of the "Dancing With the Stars: Live! — A Night to Remember" tour in late 2018 and early 2019.

In September, Bones and his wife, Caitlin Parker, announced they were expecting their first baby. The radio host recently shut down a rumor that he wasn't actually having ankle surgery but that his wife was going to the hospital to give birth.

"That's the new conspiracy theory around the internet," he said in a clip from The Bobby Bones Show shared via Instagram. "Not a bad one...Yeah, I laughed. And I've read it like five times in my DMs."

Also on the show, Bones explained that he has a hole in his ankle cartilage after an injury two years ago. He explained that cadaver cartilage would be used for the repair.

Hopefully, everything went smoothly!
