- Elon Musk is criticizing *The Odyssey* again, just three months after he claimed Christopher Nolan "lost his integrity" by casting Lupita Nyong'o as Helen of Troy.

- The Tesla cofounder wrote that Nolan cast Nyong'o because "he wants the awards" and described an unconfirmed rumor that Elliot Page will play Achilles in the film as "one of the dumbest and twisted things I’ve ever heard."

- He also agreed with another X user who called Nolan "racist against the Greek people and their cultural heritage."

Elon Musk is still upset about Lupita Nyong’o being cast in *The Odyssey* in case anyone was curious.

Over the past three days, the 54-year-old businessman has continued to comment upon and share multiple problematic social media posts that criticize Nyong’o being cast of Helen of Troy in the upcoming epic, going so far as to claim that writer-director Christopher Nolan brought her aboard because "he wants the awards.”

She’s not the only star on the receiving end of Musk’s ire, either. The Tesla cofounder also condemned unconfirmed rumors that Elliot Page plays Achilles in the film, calling the idea “one of the dumbest and twisted things I’ve ever heard 🤡🤡.”

Elliot Page attends the inaugural Pink Triangle Press "Pink Awards" at The Globe and Mail Centre on November 07, 2024 in Toronto, Ontario., Lupita Nyong'o attends SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations: "Sinners" at SAG-AFTRA Foundation Robin Williams Center on December 01, 2025 in New York City.

Musk has been an unhappy camper about Nyong’o’s casting since February, when he wrote that Nolan had “lost his integrity” in response to then-rumors that the Oscar-winning actress would play Helen of Troy. His comment was part of a larger thread that expressed outrage over her role in the film, with one user calling the decision “absolutely disgusting.”

Now, after a recent *Time* interview with Nolan confirmed that Nyong’o will not only be playing the character, but also her sister Clytemnestra, Musk has returned to the internet to comment upon Nyong’o’s looks and to mock Page for a role that may not even be his.

Among his many reshared posts were two from conservative commentator Matt Walsh, who wrote: “Not one person on the planet actually thinks that Lupita Nyong’o is ‘the most beautiful woman in the world.’ But Christopher Nolan knows that he would be called racist if he gave ‘the most beautiful woman’ role to a white woman.' Nolan is technically talented but a coward. Too afraid to do anything that even slightly challenges the spirit of the age.”

In response, Musk commented, “True.”

He agreed with another one of Walsh’s posts in which the commentator claimed that people would be "driven to murderous violence" if the script was flipped and Sydney Sweeney had been cast as "the most beautiful woman in Africa."

“Absolutely true,” Musk wrote. “Such hypocrisy in Hollywood.”

The tech billionaire also shared a laughing emoji in response to an AI-generated photo that featured Page dressed in armor and struggling to open a pickle jar. He also reacted to another post that featured a photo of Eric Bana's *Troy* character Hector holding a pickle jar and challenging Page's Achilles to open it. "Banger," Musk commented.

He also lashed out at Nolan too, reposting a user who called him a "coward" and suggested that Nyong’o’s casting was a ploy "to be eligible to win Best Picture at the Oscars." He even went as far as to agree with a user that claimed Nolan is “racist against the Greek people and their cultural heritage,” writing, “True.”

*The Odyssey, *which washes ashore into theaters on July 17, also stars Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Jon Bernthal, Matt Damon, Robert Pattinson, Benny Safdie, Travis Scott, and more.

Page opened up about working with Nolan again for the first time since 2010’s *Inception* during an X-Men panel at New York Comic Con last October.

“I loved working with him on *Inception* and loved being a part of that movie,” he said at the time. “I was just completely jazzed and excited, and I basically went and met with Chris and talked about the part, then sat in a room and read the script. It was such a joy to come back.”
