Those looking forward to the last ever episode of The Boys will have the option to watch the whole thing play out in cinemas, as well as streaming it at home.
What’s more, the whole thing will be playing out in 4DX, adding even more drama to the finale.
On Tuesday afternoon, a post on The Boys’ official social media accounts announced: “In two weeks, we’re going out with a bang. Literally, because ya might vibrate watchin’ the series finale in 4DX.
“Get yer mitts on a seat with the purchase of a concession voucher, which is good towards sweets or soda the day of.”

For those who’ve not experienced 4DX, it incorporates effects like wind, rain, mist and even smells to make viewers feel even more immersed in what they’re watching, while the cinema seats also move in correspondence with what’s happening on the big screen.
HuffPost UK has contacted The Boys for clarification on whether this cinematic release will also be taking place in the UK.
Late last year, Netflix also gave Stranger Things fans the option to watch the finale in cinemas – albeit in the US only.
Since then, the most recent season of The Traitors was given the same treatment, with the reality show’s dramatic conclusion airing at select cinemas around the UK earlier in the year.

Last month, it was announced that spin-off seriesGen Vhad been cancelled by Prime Video after two seasons.
Executive producers Eric Kripke and Evan Goldberg said in a statement: “While we wish we could keep the party going another season at Godolkin, we’re committed to continuing the Gen V characters’ stories in The Boys season five and other VCU projects on the horizon.”
“You’ll see them again,” they added.
