It’s the most caffeinated day of the year, and here’s how some of your favorite stars are (probably) celebrating.

From simple lattes to tall orders, celebrities are picky about their cups of coffee just like the rest of us. Some stars seem to sip for that extra pep in their step, like Pedro Pascal and his quad-shot beverage, while others can appreciate taste, à la Taylor Swift and her caramel latte.

In honor of National Coffee Day, check out what some of the biggest names in Hollywood like to pour in their cups.

Dunkin’s biggest fan finally revealed his coffee order to the world when he spoke to PEOPLE in January 2023 on the set of his Super Bowl commercial for the company.

“It’s not all that exciting, really. It’s just iced coffee, milk and two sugars, sometimes Splenda,” he said while shooting the ad spot in Massachusetts. “I do sometimes have to admit to [using] almond milk, [but] if you really want to know, sometimes I forget.”

The Last of Us star sent the internet spiraling in March 2023 when a fan caught a glimpse of his Starbucks order while he signed an autograph for a fan on video.

According to his drink’s label, Pascal was holding a venti-sized iced quad espresso with extra ice and six shots. For reference, a single shot of espresso contains about 63 mg of caffeine, which puts his drink at close to 400 mg of caffeine in total.

Boggled by his intake, people expressed both amusement and slight concern online. “IS HE OKAY,” wondered one fan in the comments of the original TikTok. Another marveled, “Our mans is CAFFEINATED.”

Pascal addressed the fare while on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2025. “I cannot begin to tell you how violating this was,” Pascal joked. “There’s so much context to why it became six shots of espresso.” Theactor explained that his original drink was mild, but as time went by he felt as though the cups were becoming larger and the four shots were becoming less effective.

“At some point, it became six, and it was an incredibly private morning ritual that I never wanted anyone to know about,” he added. “I don’t have more coffee for the rest of the day, I swear.”

During a check-in with her fans in August 2023, the internet sensation made sure to update everyone about her current coffee order and where she likes to get it.

“First things first, I do still drink Dunkin’,” said D’Amelio, who has over 151 million followers on TikTok. “My order now is a cold brew with whole milk and sugar.”

Ariana Grande

If you’re wondering what size coffee Ariana Grande orders at Starbucks, look no further than her name. Yep, the star did indeed order a grande (or medium) drink when she and James Corden visited a branch of the coffee chain during an episode of his “Carpool Karaoke“ series in 2018.

The “Thank U, Next” singer and Corden were certainly goofing off on their coffee run, with the talk show host carrying Grande on his back, but her order was as straightforward as it gets: a soy latte.

When Corden cheekily prompted her to specify what size, the Grammy winner played right into the bit. “Oh, I’m gonna get a grande,” she said, as the baristas laughed along. “Gets ‘em every time!”

Taylor Swift

In the fall of 2021, Swift teamed up with Starbucks to celebrate the season andthe release of her re-recorded album Red (Taylor’s Version). The collaboration invited fans of coffee and music to order the “All Too Well” singer’s favorite beverage, a Grande Caramel Nonfat Latte. And to make things even simpler, Starbucks-goers could just ask their baristas for “Taylor’s Latte” or “Taylor’s Version.”

Zendaya

The Euphoria star’s order went viral in February 2022, when a Starbucks employee revealed she took her order in a since-deleted tweet. In a follow-up, the barista detailed that Zendaya ordered a venti iced matcha tea latte with coconut milk.

(While both tweets have been removed, the Emmy-winning actress’ order continues to live on through media outlets who reported on the news, like Insider and The Independent.)

Khloé Kardashian’s Starbucks drink of choice is in line with her health goals. The youngest Kardashian sister goes for a grande iced vanilla protein latte made with Starbucks’ blonde espresso roast and topped off with vanilla protein cold foam.

During a BBC Radio 1 interview with his One Direction bandmates back in 2014, Harry Styles ordered a “vanilla latte with a shot of that caramel creamer.” Naturally, the order went viral and fans used the sound in TikTok videos of themselves getting the drink at Starbucks.

You might not be able to score Ashton Kutcher’s unique coffee order at Starbucks or Dunkin’. During an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show in early 2023, the actor claimed to prefer his morning joe with a splash of orange juice. Naturally, Clarkson responded with skepticism, but Kutcher explained that the “citrus notes” in black coffee pair well with a fruity squeeze.

“It brightens up the coffee and gives it a little bit of sweetness,” he said.
