Jenelle Evans is hitting back after she was seen spending time with her estranged husband David Eason.

On Monday, April 6, Evans defended herself on X after TMZ published photos of her spending time with her ex-husband and two of her kids — daughter Ensley, 9, whom she shares with Eason, and son Kaiser Orion, 11, whom she shares with ex Nathan Griffin.

"Just because I am co-parenting, doesn't mean I'm in trouble in any way," Evans wrote in reference to the photos in a post on X. "Sorry to burst your bubble everyone."

She later replied to someone who referenced her custody battle with son Jace.

"I'm sorry my daughter is allowed to see her father," wrote Evans on X. "Everyone knows this but you apparently."

Another person pointed out that in the photos published on X, Evans could be seen wearing her wedding ring. "And? I told everyone last week," she wrote back.

In the photos obtained by TMZ, Evans can be seen walking alongside Eason. The two were in Las Vegas, which Evans later confirmed in a post shared to her Instagram.

Alongside Ensley and Kaiser, Evans is also mom to son Jace, 17, whom she shares with ex Andrew Lewis.

Back in May 2024, Evans was granted a six-month domestic violence protective order for her and her three kids against Eason.

"Jenelle is excited to move forward with her life. She's focused on her children, herself and her career,” Evans’ manager August Keen told PEOPLE in a statement following the news.

“She expressed huge relief after the judge granted the restraining order,” Keen explained. “She hasn't been this happy in a very long time. Big things are already lined up for her and she looks forward to her bright future. A lot of surprises in store which can be seen on future episodes of Teen Mom."

The couple legally separated in March 2024 after six years together. Evans publicly announced the news on TikTok, with an initial TikTok to Lady Gaga’s “Applause” saying, “Can I get some appreciation? I filed for separation.” In the caption, she added, “New Chapter Unlocked 🔒✨.”

In a follow-up video, Evans explained that she needed to file for separation before filing for divorce in North Carolina. According to the mother of three, the state requires couples to be legally separated for a year and have two separate addresses, which has been difficult as they never “wanted to leave” their home.

Evans and Eason tied the knot in September 2017, though the pair have had a rocky relationship since then, splitting in October 2019 and reconciling in early 2020.

Throughout their marriage, Eason also faced several controversies, including his firing from Teen Mom 2 in 2018 following a homophobic Twitter rant. He also shot and killed their family dog in 2019 after the canine bit then-2-year-old Ensley in the face and he was arrested for driving with a revoked license and open container in 2021.
