Jonathan Bailey is the 2025 PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive

The actor is in the middle of an international press tour for Wicked: For Good

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Bailey sang an assortment of "sexy" songs with his Wicked costar, Jeff Goldblum

Jonathan Bailey has something to sing about.

Bailey, 37, had fun celebrating being named PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive by singing an assortment of "sexy" songs with his Wicked costar, Jeff Goldblum, in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight.

At the start of the interview, Goldblum, 73, sang a snippet from "You Sexy Thing" by Hot Chocolate as Bailey was asked if he felt any different since earning the title.

“It’s completely absurd," said Bailey, who plays Prince Fiyero Tigelaar in the film. "Brilliant. Hilarious."

The movie star went on to share that he's taking the honor "very seriously."

"I’m going to squeeze every ounce of sexuality I have for the next 360 days," said Bailey while pointing at his fellow Jurassic World franchise star. "And, also, I’m representing all the sexy people out there and I feel the weight of history of all the sexy men that came before me."

“Yes, you stand on the sexy shoulders of giants," Goldblum responded. "Sexy giants.”

“You carried me on your shoulders," said Bailey.

After joking that he was trying to come up with a theme song for Bailey, the two sang a medley of "sexy" songs.

The impromptu performance began with "SexyBack" by Justin Timberlake, which then transitioned to 50 Cent's "P.I.M.P.," and ended with "I'm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred.

"There's nothing sexier than progress," added the Jurassic World Rebirth star, who is the first openly gay man named Sexiest Man Alive.

The fun didn't stop there, as the interview ended with Goldblum singing a snippet of "You've Made Me So Very Happy" by Blood, Sweat & Tears.

In a statement, GLAAD Vice President of Communications & Talent Anthony Allen Ramos said Bailey's honor “reflects just how far LGBTQ visibility in Hollywood has come," calling it a "pop culture milestone."
