Josh Brolin has a great appreciation for art — at least, according to his *The Running Man* costar Glen Powell.
During a recent visit to* **Jimmy Kimmel Live!*, the 37-year-old actor revealed that he learned a lot about Brolin and his artistic taste while staying at the *Dune* actor’s Atlanta home when shooting the second season of *Chad Powers*.
“Josh has a very, I guess, *specific* type of art that he hangs in his house,” Powell explained to guest host Jelly Roll. “He loves nudes.”

He wasn’t the only person who noticed the amount of risqué artwork, either.
“My family came to visit and it was like the first thing that they realized, they were like, ‘Wow, like Josh really loves nudes,’” Powell mused. “And I was like, ‘Yeah… It’s tasteful.’”

And yet, somehow, that *wasn’t* the most awkward conversation that Powell had about the art featured in Brolin’s home.
“I had a bunch of the crew over for the Super Bowl,” he remembered. “And one of the grips was talking, he’s like, ‘Hey man, this is great, man. I love the art.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, the art’s great, isn’t it?’”

The grip proceeded to ask Powell about a series of portraits of Brolin and his wife, Kathryn Boyd Brolin, that were hanging on the walls.
“He goes, ‘...Why do you have a picture of Josh Brolin?’” Powell said. “And I said, ‘Wait, what? ... No, no, no, this is Josh Brolin’s house!’”
The revelation immediately put the grip at ease. Powell added, “He’s like, ‘Oh, thank God. I was looking at these pictures and I was like, I should warn Josh Brolin about this guy.’”
Brolin is an artist in his own right. In 2024, he collaborated with Oscar-winning *Dune* cinematographer Greig Fraser to create *Dune: Exposures*, an art book that gives a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Denis Villeneuve’s first two films. Fraser provided the photographs, while Brolin penned his own poetry — including a piece about Timothée Chalamet’s cheekbones.
