Talking to your kids can be a challenging task for parents. Kate Middleton knows what that’s all about with the Princess of Wales having three children with the future King, Prince William. Now the 44-year-old is sharing her approach to talking with her kids.

On Sunday, Kate was at the EE BAFTA Film Awards in London alongside her husband. She discussed her unique way of handling “hard conversations” with Louis, Charlotte, and George.

Tying in the fictional world with real life may be a different way of parenting. Speaking with Hello! Magazine Kate shared how her kids “are starting to get interested in films.” As such, she believes that’s an ideal way to engage in tough talks with the three.

The passion for film could stem from their father. William serves as the President of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA). In 2021, the Prince launched a bursary grant in his name. It helps young people from underrepresented groups advance their careers in the arts. More than 237 recipients have received the bursary.

Last week William’s uncle was arrested on suspicion of misconduct while in public office. Reports suggest the ex-Prince Andrew could be a threat to the eldest son of King Charles. Andrew lost his title as Prince last year due to his previous ties to the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

William has promised to rule with an iron fist when the day comes for him to inherit the throne from his father. On Sunday, however, he seemed to dodge a tough question. “Is the monarchy in peril?” a red-carpet attendee could be heard saying. The Prince did not react to the question.
