This fall, The Kelly Clarkson Show will be coming to an end after seven seasons. Lawrence Zarian, a lifestyle expert who has appeared on the show multiple times and is a good friend of Kelly Clarksonâs, opened up about the show ending and this new chapter in the singerâs life in a new interview.
âIt is so bittersweet because everybody loves her,â he admitted to Us Weekly. âIt is the best job in the world, the best family in the world. Alex Duda, our executive producer, and Kareen Gunning run a beautiful ship, and it has been an honor to be a part of their family.â
Zarian noted that when the show is over, Clarkson is going to focus on being a mom to her two kids, whose father, Brandon Blackstock, died in 2025. âSheâs going to be a mom and take care of her kids,â he said. âUnfortunately, the father of those kids passed and I think life travels so fast. When youâre Kelly Clarkson, you donât get to slow down. Sheâs choosing her kids. Sheâs putting her own oxygen mask on, and hopefully writing a duet for us!â
Clarkson announced news of her show ending in February. âI have been extremely fortunate to work with such an outstanding group of people at The Kelly Clarkson Show, both in Los Angeles and New York,â Clarkson said at the time (the show moved to the East Coast in 2023.)

She continued, âThere have been so many amazing moments and shows over these seven seasons. I am forever grateful and honored to have worked alongside the greatest band and crew you could hope for, all the talent and inspiring people who have shared their time and lives with us, all the fans who have supported our show, and to NBC for always being such a supportive and incredible partner.â

Clarkson said it was not an âeasy decisionâ for her to step away from this project, adding, âStepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary for this next chapter of our lives.â
It wonât be the end of Clarkson on our TV screens, though, as sheâs back as a coach for Season 30 of The Voice this fall, as well.
