Melissa Gilbert has returned to the public eye with her first social media post since her husband, Timothy Busfield, was indicted on child sex abuse charges.

The "Little House on the Prairie" actor, 62, posted on Instagram for the first time in months after previously deactivating her account amid the case surrounding Busfield. In the post, she promoted a new campaign from her lifestyle brand ModernPrairie, which she co-founded in 2022 alongside Nicole Haase.

"Nicole and Melissa are getting into the frame and into the picture, and we cannot wait to share what’s next," the post's caption reads. "And how perfect are these incredible crochet dolls created in their likeness by @hookednovelties? Our Modern Prairie community is endlessly talented, and these two look almost exactly like the photo from last fall."

The campaign teased future updates, including "special guests you’ve missed hearing from."

Melissa Gilbert and Timothy Busfield attend the "Nymphes D'Or - Golden Nymphs" Nominees Party during the 62nd Monte Carlo TV Festival on June 19, 2023 in Monte-Carlo, Monaco.

Busfield was charged Jan. 9 with child sex abuse and was arrested soon after in connection with allegations of abusing minors on the set of Fox's "The Cleaning Lady." A New Mexico grand jury indicted him Feb. 6 on four counts of criminal sexual contact of a child.

Gilbert has stayed by Busfield's side throughout the trial, pleading for her husband's innocence.

In an April 6 "Good Morning America" interview, she said that the director's arrest and everything that followed was "the most traumatizing experience of our lives."

"Our life, as we knew it, is done," she told host George Stephanopoulos in an interview that aired April 6. "We are grieving what we had. All of our plans, all of our dreams, all of our ideas, all of our projects − for Tim, it's done. He's canceled. Even if he's exonerated, he will always be that guy."

Gilbert said she never doubted the innocence of her husband, whom she described as the "last person in the world who would hurt a child." She said justice in the case would include "exoneration, an apology," and "freedom from this cloud."

"If I thought for a second that Tim Busfield hurt a child, he'd have a lot more to worry about than prison," she added.

"I know this man in my bones. No one knows him better than I do. I know literally everything about him," she said, adding that he is "an honorable, caring, generous human being" and she is "100% confident he will be exonerated."
