Prince William released a new video message in an elegant space following his move to Forest Lodge with Kate Middleton and their kids

Curiosity was sparked as to whether the video was filmed at the new royal residence

The Prince and Princess of Wales reportedly threw a party for the team who moved them in early

Prince William and Kate Middleton are all moved into Forest Lodge, their "forever home" — but did he just give a glimpse inside?

On Nov. 11, the Prince of Wales, 43, appeared in a new video released for the Royal British Legion’s Remembrance Assembly on Armistice Day, which is known as Veterans Day in the U.S.

There, Prince William shared a special message for schoolchildren across the U.K. about the importance of Armistice Day and commemorating Remembrance, also sparking curiosity about whether the video was filmed at his new home.

The heir to the throne spoke in the corner of a room with a rich red curtain, purple patterned wallpaper, two framed photos and gilded white doors, creating a camera-ready setting.

However, previous videos from Prince William confirm that the nook is one he has filmed at before, in a space identified as Windsor Castle.

The Prince of Wales used the same backdrop just a few months ago when he recorded a message (in Welsh!) to mark St. David's Day on March 1.

He also previously recorded videos in the spot for the Steve Irwin Gala in May 2024, the 2024 BAFTA Television Awards and the Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit in 2022.

William's new video, in which he referenced his military experience and firsthand witness to "the hard work, dedication and duty the Armed Forces carry out to ensure we are protected," was released on the heels of the royal family's main engagement for Remembrance on Nov. 9.

There, Prince William and Princess Kate joined King Charles and Queen Camilla at the somber Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph war memorial in London, which doubled as the Prince and Princess of Wales' first joint public appearance since their major move to Forest Lodge.

On Nov. 1, The Telegraph reported that the Prince and Princess of Wales had officially moved into Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park with their children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7.

Forest Lodge is said to be the family's forever home, where they plan to stay even when William accedes to the throne one day, and the eight-bedroom Georgian-era mansion is an upgrade from their previous space.

Prince William, Princess Kate and their kids had been living at the nearby Adelaide Cottage, also in Windsor Great Park, which was a smaller setup with four bedrooms, since the summer of 2022.

A spokesperson at Kensington Palace confirmed to PEOPLE in August that the family would be moving, and William and Kate later threw a party at a local pub to thank builders and staff who got them into Forest Lodge ahead of schedule.

The royal couple paid for minor renovations and their move privately, and they will pay market rent at Forest Lodge.

As with Adelaide Cottage, there is no live-in staff, creating a private sanctuary for the family
