Princess Kate and Prince George arrive to attend The Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance on Nov. 8, 2025.
It's a (royal) family affair.
Princess Kate was joined by her eldest son, Prince George, 12, at the Royal British Legion's Festival of Remembrance at Royal Albert Hall in London on Nov. 8, an annual event honoring military service members in the U.K.
While Prince William was absent, King Charles III and Queen Camilla were also in attendance to take in performances from Rod Stewart and a military band. Kate wore a black Alessandra Rich dress with a white collar and white lace detailing, adorning it with a red poppy flower in her lapel and a cross necklace. George's crisp navy suit was paired with a white striped tie.

Saturday marked Prince George's inaugural attendance at the event, which members of the royal family attend each year. As he enters tweenhood, it remains to be seen whether he will become a more public presence on the royal press circuit.
The oldest of Kate and William's three children – followed by Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7 – George sat stoically next to his mother in their balcony seats as they witnessed the ceremony honoring fallen soldiers.

The outing comes towards the end of a tumultuous year for the royals. Kate and Charles continued to suffer public cancer battles, while, earlier this month, Andrew, Charles' brother, was stripped of his royal title amid a scandal over his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein.
The move came amid the release of a posthumous memoir from Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre. In "Nobody's Girl," released Oct. 21, Giuffre gave further details about her previous sexual abuse allegations against Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. Windsor was ousted as a senior royal three years before, when the allegations over his connections to the convicted American sex offender first picked up steam in the press.
