Raven-Symoné can see the future — but can she remember the past?

Playing a game on a recent episode of her podcast, *Tea Time With Raven and Miranda,* the *That's So Raven* actress attempted to identify songs by their lyrics, but she completely failed to recognize one with which she should be pretty familiar.

"I gotta walk to work 15 blocks. Just start it, I already got a hole in my socks," Raven read from a piece of paper.

Clueless, she asked, "What the hell? This is definitely somebody white."

Off screen, one of her producers yelled, "No!"

"It's not?" Raven responded. "That's crazy."

"That was probably the funniest thing you just could've said," the producer replied.

"Why, 'cause it's the Blackest person in the world?" Raven asked before guessing, "Kanye!"

The producer then insisted, "I know you know this song."

"It's Black people?" Raven asked.

"Person," the producer corrected.

"Oh, it's a person. It's a Black person," Raven said.

Eventually, the former Disney star gave up. "I don't [know]. What is it?" she asked. "I'm literally blank."

"This is 'Double Dutch Bus' by Raven-Symoné," the producer revealed.

The singer then broke down in hysterical laughter, falling onto the table in front of her and shoving her microphone away.

"What was something that made you laugh way harder than it should've recently?" Raven asked, still laughing.

"Oh my God. 'It's obviously somebody white,'" she said, cackling at her earlier remark. "Oh my God. I sang that?"

In Raven's defense, her version of "Double Dutch Bus" was a cover of Frankie Smith's 1981 funk song. She recorded it for the soundtrack of her 2008 movie *College Road Trip*, and the tune also served as the lead single for her fourth album, *Raven-Symoné*.

Raven retired from touring in 2008, though she continued performing live in a lead role in *Sister Act* on Broadway in the early 2010s. After returning to Disney Channel with *Raven's Home *in 2017, she returned to live music, this time disguised as Black Widow for season 2 of *The Masked Singer* in 2019.

The actress told ** at the time that she had no interest in making her voice less recognizable during her appearance on the competition show. "I definitely did not want to disguise it in any way," she said. "I really love singing. I love going to karaoke. This was just for my own personal enjoyment."
