Ozzy Osbourne's family is remembering him on what would have been his 77th birthday.
The Black Sabbath rocker, who died in July at 76, received a sweet tribute from his wife, Sharon, on Instagram on Wednesday.
"My darling husband, I celebrate the day you were born," she wrote in her caption. "I will never let go of your hand until I see you on the other side."

Sharon's post, which was set to Ozzy's song "See You on the Other Side," included a slideshow of photos of her and her husband over the years, as well as video of a fan shrine to the singer on Black Sabbath Bridge in Birmingham, the singer's hometown in the U.K. The tribute featured a floral arrangement that spelled out "Happy birthday Ozzy."
The singer's daughter, Kelly, also shared a post remembering the musician on Wednesday. Her video featured a series of archival clips of her father laughing, with text on screen reading "miss Ozzy's smile." Kelly resolved in her caption, "I promise to never stop smiling!"
The singer died July 22. Officials determined that his cause of death was a heart attack, with "acute myocardial infarction," coronary artery disease, and Parkinson's disease with autonomic dysfunction listed as "joint causes," per the *New York Times*. He was previously diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019.
Just two weeks before his death, Osbourne performed a farewell show that reunited the original lineup of his trailblazing hard rock band Black Sabbath — guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, and drummer Bill Ward — at Villa Park in Birmingham.

The singer's family later revealed that Osbourne was hospitalized two weeks before taking the stage at Villa Park. "The story — I don’t think even you know it — is we had him in the hospital, and we were just terrified that people were going to find out," Sharon said in a November episode of her family podcast *The Osbournes*.
