Saturday Night Live set its sights on former White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia.
SNL made its comeback after a two-week break for a special Halloween episode on October 31. Obsession star Inde Navarette made her hosting debut on the long-running live sketch comedy show, with singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams serving as the musical guest. During the episode's cold open, cast member Veronika Slowikowska stepped into the role of Zacharia. The skit gave the fictional Zacharia a chance to "redeem" herself following her dismissal just five days into the position.
The parody follows the ousted Trump spokeswoman's outrageous pick for which actress would play her on Saturday Night Live.

During the opening segment, Slowikowska, 31, appeared dressed in a strikingly similar outfit to Zacharia's ill-fated debut look, sporting a white top with a cutout detail, a blazer featuring gold buttons, and flowing blonde hair, reports the Irish Star.
Zacharia grabbed headlines following her inaugural briefing as White House Press Secretary on October 13, when she spoke for under 15 minutes and fielded only a handful of questions before stepping away from the podium for the first and final time.

The satirical version of Zacharia is introduced by James Austin Johnson portraying Donald Trump, who announces, "Now, it's time to say the big line and start the show, and I'd like to give someone a chance to redeem herself - my former press secretary Katie Zacharia! Come on out, Katie!".
The fictional Zacharia then fumbled while attempting to read from the teleprompter, delivering the line, "Live from New York, it's Satruday Night!"
In the sketch, Zacharia clears her throat and announces, "Live," pronounced incorrectly, "from New York," before hesitating. She goes on, "And from so many cities," before the fictional Trump cuts her off with, "Nope! No, you whiffed it. Tom, why don't you take this one?" as he shoves her out of view.

Zacharia had previously mentioned in an interview with conservative commentator Jack Posobiec that she would prefer a "Scarlett Johansson-type character" to play her on SNL.
The blonde mother of four made headlines when she was removed from her role just five days after starting, following questions about her legal qualifications. Despite being described as a lawyer and an attorney, Zacharia, a Pepperdine University graduate, has never passed the bar exam and lacks a license to practice law.
While Trump administration officials are frequently lampooned on SNL, this marked Zacharia's debut as a target of the show's satire.
The program also mocked rapper Nicki Minaj, who has embraced the MAGA movement, appearing alongside the 80-year-old presidents at Republican rallies ahead of the midterm election.
Saturday Night Live airs weekly at 11:30 PM EST on NBC and Peacock.
