Hulu announced the release date for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County — a spinoff to the hit Mormon Wives series — in a post on Sept. 29

The series will star Bobbi Althoff, Aspyn Ovard, Avery Woods, Jen Affleck and more

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is back with a new spinoff series.

Hulu announced on Sept. 29 that The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County — a spinoff of the hit series — would be premiering on Nov. 12.

“New wives, new secrets. 🍊” the streamer teased in its Instagram announcement.

The spinoff will star podcast host Bobbi Althoff, FishFam YouTuber Madison Bontempo and social media stars Aspyn Ovard, Avery Woods and Salomé Andrea, Chandler Higginson and Ashleigh Pease. The cast also includes McCall DaPron, whose sister is original MomTok star Mayci Neeley, and Jen Affleck, who fans know from the original series.

“A new group of dynamic young mothers in Orange County collide in a community where beliefs are not just their religion; they are their identity,” reads the show’s official synopsis. “While some defend their way of life, fighting against modernity, others embrace change, becoming a platform to disrupt the status quo. Scandals and secrets will be revealed, facades will crumble, and families and friendships will change forever on both sides of the battlefield as this group of strong, game-changing influencers comes together to build their answer to #MomTok.”

The spinoff comes amid a contentious moment for the original series, which has weathered a series of controversies and cast exits over the last year.

In early 2026, the reality TV world was rocked by the news that Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex Dakota Mortensen were involved in a pair of domestic violence investigations by Utah police departments, prompting the show to temporarily halt production for its fifth season.

Even after the season finally aired earlier this month, the drama continued when cast member Mikayla Matthews announced that she would be exiting the series after learning that Paul was invited to return.

In her wake, castmates Neeley and Layla Taylor also indicated that they might step back from the series after season 6, and Paul said she had no “desire to move forward,” claiming in a statement that “almost the entire cast” had been “going at” her.
