Usher Marks 2nd Wedding Anniversary With Touching Post

Usher took to social media to celebrate two years of marriage with his wife, Jennifer Goicoechea. He shared a series of pictures from their wedding day in Las Vegas, which also included their clicks with their combined four kids. Alongside the lovely pictures, he also shared a brief, heartfelt note, with fans taking to his comment section to share their best wishes on their relationship milestone.

Usher recently took to Instagram to share a series of his pictures from his wedding day in 2024 at the Fast Lane driveway tunnel in Las Vegas. In the images, Jennifer Goicoechea wore a white, stylish co-ord set, paired with black goggles, gloves, and minimalistic jewelry. Meanwhile, Usher went for a dual-colored black and white suit, with a rose as his brooch and dark goggles. Some pictures show them with a lavish vintage car, while other photos show them all smiles, holding hands, and kissing. A few photos also consisted of their kids. Currently, they are parents to two children, Sovereign and Sire. Moreover, Usher is also a father to Usher V and Naviyd, whom he shares with ex-wife Tameka Foster.

His caption read, “Soft as cotton, strong in the weave. Here’s to the life we’re building thread by thread. Happy 2nd Anniversary, my love.” In an interview with BET, Usher shared what it was like to end his residency in Las Vegas and then to perform at the Super Bowl, after which, on the same day, he tied the knot with his wife.

He said, “What was already an amazing moment was peaked by a moment that I will remember forever. I was very happy to not only conclude my time in Las Vegas with the residency and then the Super Bowl but to start on a new journey with my amazing wife. I was very happy to do it there. It’s probably one of the easiest ceremonies that I’ve experienced in my life.”

Reflecting on his last-minute marriage plans, he added, “It was cool. It was something out of history. You hear about these kinds of things, but to have been able to do it was really a joyous moment between me and my wife, my children, and my intimate and immediate family who were there. It was an abrupt thing. We decided at the last minute to do it.” Usher and Goicoechea have been dating since 2019, before getting married a few years down the line.
