In-state rivals Louisville and Kentucky will meet each tonight at the KFC Yum! Center in front of a national TV audience.

It's the earliest meeting between the programs and only the third in November across 57 games dating back to 1913.

Louisville is ranked No. 12 in the Coaches Poll, Kentucky is ranked No. 8. This marks the first time both teams have been ranked entering the game since Dec. 28, 2019, a 78-70 overtime Kentucky win at Rupp Arena.

"It's going to be a big-time college game and a big-time college atmosphere," Cardinals coach Pat Kelsey said. "They're going to find out a lot about themselves — as are we — by the end of it."

"In-state rivalry games are always fun and exciting. We can't wait to get to it," Wildcats coach Mark Pope said.
