Dylan Dreyer is sharing an update on her divorce from Brian Fichera and the family support helping her navigate life with three boys.
The "Today" show meteorologist, 45, described herself as recently divorced during Thursday's episode of "The Parent Chat with Dylan Dreyer."
"As you know, I'm recently divorced, so my mom has been staying with me for months at a time," Dreyer said. "We've figured out this dance over the last several months of her living with me of what I do versus what she does, and it's a lot easier for me to find the patience and to handle the wildness of the boys when they first come home for school."
The Oct. 15 episode explored the role grandparents play in raising children, with Dreyer discussing how she and her mother, Linda Dryer, share responsibilities at home.

Dreyer and Fichera married in 2012 and have three sons: Calvin, 9, Oliver, 6, and Rusty, 5.
For Dreyer, her mother's support includes help with the everyday demands of parenting.
"I don't know what I would do without having my mom here," she said, according to the outlet. "I don't think a couple years ago, my mom ever thought that she would be kinda living with me, emptying out backpacks, cleaning off the lunch boxes, and helping me run everybody around. But it is what it is, and now she's here. And I honestly don't know what I would do without her."

Dreyer shared that her mother, who lives far away, often stays with her "for weeks, months at a time" to help the newly single mom out.

When did Dylan Dreyer and Brian Fichera separate?
Dreyer announced the couple's separation on July 18, 2025, telling her Instagram followers that they had decided to split a few months earlier.
"I want to share with you that a few months ago, Brian and I made the decision to separate," Dreyer wrote in her post. "We began as friends, and we will remain the closest of friends. Most importantly, we will continue to co-parent our three wonderful boys together with nothing but love and respect."
Less than two weeks later, Dreyer posted vacation photos with Fichera and their children. The July 29 Instagram post included a passage from her children's book, "Misty the Cloud: A Very Stormy Day," encouraging readers to find joy in their surroundings.
Dreyer filed for divorce in March 2026, months before her latest podcast update.
